SwanLife Groups

What is a SwanLife group?

SwanLife groups are small groups of approximately 5-12 people who desire to grow in their spiritual life and faith together. Each group strives to create space for persons to experience and extend Jesus’ truth, love, and power by giving attention to four key components that create the “spiritual DNA” of their weekly gatherings:

• UP – each group strives to reach “up” through prayer, worship, and study, as everyone is encouraged to strengthen their spiritual relationship with God. (Hebrews 10:23-25; 2 Peter 1:5-8)
• IN – each group also reaches “in” through mutual care, support, and encouragement. (1 Thessalonians 5:11)
• OUT – each group strives to reach “out” in mission, service, and invitational witness. (John 4:28-30; Hebrews 10:24)
• FORWARD – each group also seeks to reach “forward” to equip and empower individual group members in using and strengthening their own personal and spiritual gifts so leadership is cultivated and new groups are birthed. (1 Peter 4:10-11, Acts 14:21-23)
