Help Feed Local Children
BackPack Friends provides nutritious meals and snacks to children who may need extra support on weekends. Each week, we deliver more than 1,000 backpacks to children in 25 schools across Carteret, Craven, Onslow, and Jones counties.
Volunteers are needed to help pack backpacks and support this important ministry. Join us in making sure local children have food to eat when school is out.

Food Pantry
Our Food Pantry helps provide food to individuals and families in our community who are experiencing food insecurity. We are grateful for the generosity of our church family and community partners who help keep our shelves stocked.
Want to help? Bring canned goods and other nonperishable food items to any church service. Every donation makes a difference!
For more information or to learn how you can get involved, contact Joanne Kopanski.
Rise Against Hunger
Swansboro United Methodist Church partners with Rise Against Hunger to help fight hunger around the world. Through meal-packing events and financial support, our church helps provide nutritious meals to communities facing hunger and food insecurity.
Together, we can make a difference—one meal, one community, and one life at a time.
Hope Mission
Our church partners with Hope Mission in Morehead City to serve lunch to individuals experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity. Volunteers from our congregation help prepare and serve meals, offering both nourishment and a welcoming presence to those in need.
