SwanKids Worship
Welcome!
Hello parents! We have recently launched a new Sunday morning children’s service at SUMC! We’re calling it SwanKids. It’s an exciting time for the children in our congregation. During the message at both services, your 3-10-year-olds will worship and learn about God in a high-energy, age-appropriate atmosphere! SwanKids is a place where your child can grow in relationship with the Lord and with others, a place for young hearts to be welcomed and shaped by God’s love, and a place to worship Jesus in a fun-filled environment.
Check-in will be located in the gathering spaces for both worship services and is available there for both nursery age (0-2) and SwanKids (3-10). Come on in the front doors and let our Children’s Ministry staff and volunteers greet you, answer any questions you might have, and get your children checked in for service. Then find a spot to worship as a family until just before the sermon. Our team will escort all of our SwanKids children downstairs before the sermon begins. On Communion Sundays, we will bring your children back to worship so you can participate in the Lord’s Supper together as a family. Our staff and volunteers are ready to worship with the youngest disciples in our community and help them grow in their love for God and worship! Hope to see you Sunday!

Classroom &
Nursery
Precautions
We do encourage parents to abide by the nursery and Children’s ministry health precautions:
Children should be free of fever, diarrhea, and vomiting for 24 hours before being checked in to any classroom/nursery. Should a child fall ill during our care, a parent will be notified immediately.
The sanitation of all surfaces and chairs will be wiped down after each service. Toys are rotated out after each service in order to keep the nursery/classroom sanitary.
