Lent & Easter Schedule
Palm Sunday, March 29
One Combined Worship Service 10:30 am, Building 2
Spring Picnic & Egg Hunt 4:30-6:30 pm
Maundy Thursday at the Table April 2, 6:00 PM, Building 3
Maundy Thursday is the day we remember the last time Jesus ate with his friends and his mandate to “love one another.” Join us for a catered meal at the table, woven together with scripture, prayer, liturgy, fellowship, and Holy Communion.
Please RSVP/sign up so we can prepare the meal. Contact Alysia in the church office if you need help getting signed up.
Good Friday, April 3, 7:00 PM, Sanctuary (Blg 2)
Join us for a Service of Tenebrae (Shadows)—a sacred and contemplative service rooted in an ancient Christian tradition. Through scripture, prayer, silence, and the gradual extinguishing of light, we enter an extended meditation on the passion of Christ.
On this night, we remember Jesus’ arrest, trial, suffering, crucifixion, death, and burial as we wait in the shadows for the hope of Easter.
Holy Saturday, April 4
The day between the crucifixion and the resurrection, often called “the great Silence,” is when the silence of the tomb and deep grief settle in. There are no scheduled services on this day, though you may want to observe it with a prayer or a time of silence in your own home or on the church grounds.
