On July 6th and July 13th, SUMC held church-wide information sessions on the State of the United Methodist Connection, correspondence from our NC Annual Conference on disaffiliation, and updates on our local church’s finances and year-to-date numbers. For those unable to attend, we have provided links to the handouts that were provided, as well as additional materials to help better inform our church membership and larger church family.
NEW UPDATE: Bishop Fairley has sent a new email titled “A New Season for the People Called United Methodist” dates July 14, 2022, and our conference website now has very detailed information and links to help clarify and in some cases correct what some have heard or read.
