Opportunities for seniors (age 55 and over)

Paused due to COVID-19

The Senior Adult Ministries (SAM) offers seniors a gathering for Learning, Activities, and Service to others. All members, as well as the whole community, are invited to join in for monthly luncheons with a program and for free movie screenings. Programs are geared toward those age 55 and over but all are welcome.

The monthly luncheons begin at 11:30 a.m. on the 3rd Wednesday of the month (except during Lent and Advent) in the Assembly Hall, Building 3. Doors open at 11:00 a.m. Programs vary widely and are based on the interests of the group. A small donation ($4+) is requested to cover the cost of the meal.

Crafting sessions and outings outside the church are also planned. These dates will be announced separately.

On Tuesday afternoons at 1:00 p.m. following a Wednesday gathering, there’s a free movie for all interested.
